I do and have since 1998. Moved into our newly built house on Valentines day.
What about YOU!!! When did you move here?
It takes a Village to raise a child.

Been in Logan Village since late 1985, so we're nearly considered a 'local' these days. :)

So not really living in Jimboomba, but pretty close.

Members profiles should show location, if correctly completed. However, many members are actually anonymous, hiding behind avatars, etc.
My family moved here in '98 I moved here late in 2007.

Hello, finally found a spare moment to click in here. We have lived in Jimboomba for 26 years since '82. We love the place and will probably never leave, its a perfect base and so central to everywhere.  our kids now grown up appreciate Jimboomba and its bush land setting since they live in urban Brisbane.  I feel our local territory is unique, the  bush feel is strongly maintained on most properties as an obvious wildlife haven. On our little block weve got native huge old gums and small undisturbed grassy bush areas with koalas and kangaroos moving through, all the birds and lizards and bugs wonderful bugs......I could go on.
The opportunity is there for anyone who lives here to attract wildlife to their blocks, even small allotments by planting suitable native trees and grasses. This is what this place is all about maintaining this for the future. Theres other good things about this area which Id love to spout off about another day :)

Only joined recently.  But, including me self my count is 34!  Where are the rest of the 390???  And why only Jimboomba??  What about Cedar Vale or Scotland, if we are interested.  Anyway I don't see too many Jimboombas on the profiles.
Does it matter anyway??????

Hi, I believe it has no importance what so ever.
The more the better.
We may even get some fresh ideas and positive topics from outside Jimboomba.
I can only speak for myself here, outsiders are welcome.

Yes, outsiders are welcome here.

It is afterall our own community, and we should not be afraid of outsiders wanting to become part of it. :)

It was asked originally because it would be nice to have a group gathering, perhaps a bbq day in a local park.Hence if you live in Scotland you probably wont want a steak. but yes it is wonderfull to share our area with everybody and proudly! Cheers all The Jimboomba Ranger
